I sent this guy I met pictures of him from the weekend.
Here is our email exchange. At first I thought he was in his late 20s, but from his actions through email he sounds about 23. Fresh from college. He doesn't look it though. I really liked his personality. Not that many people have one now a days. He is quirky, witty, and funny. When he wasn't shit-face wasted!
I went away for the weekend with a bunch of people my age on a bus trip.
Here is a piece of our email exchange.
Me: Here are five pictures to remember your weekend.
Him: Haha clearly going to be cherishing these for quite some time (that little video of yours is especially.. interesting). Obviously you're going to have to let me know when we're grabbing a couple drinks
Me: Hey! That guy how are you?
Adjusting to the real world again? Are you still employed? What did your coworkers say? Drinks sound fun!Should I be afraid going for drinks with that guy? (That guy= the one who is drunk all weekend, banging on your door at 3 a.m.bYou have to carry him out of your room because you just want sleep. He then leaves his jacket in your room. You give it to him on the bus the next morning. A bus of 50 people crack up at this situation.
That is that GUY! After you kick him out, you hear him running down the hall saying what room were they (meaning me) in again haha)
Him: Haha I work on a different floor than my coworkers so I have no idea what they've said yet (or my current employment status for that matter). The Hunter thing sounds cool but midtown at 7:30 is a pretty tough sell. Possibly up for further discussion. We're on for drinks though - let me know when works for you.
Why is he soooooooo fixated on DRINKING?
DRINKS DRINKS DRINKS! It is sooooo A~N~N~O~Y~I~N~G~!
I refuse to go out with any guy who just wants drinks. He is just trying to get in your pants and/or is cheap! I saw this guy super drunk alllllll weekend.
Why, oh why would you want to go for drinks again? Is he that clueless?
Any guy who just wants to take you for drinks is a loser!

I think you're being harsh on drinks. It's common first date - simple, casual, and fun, yet there's a variety of places you can go, and appetizers can be involved. It's less intimidating than a whole meal. Granted, it poses a challenge for non-drinkers, but you could do coffee or dessert?
